What a brilliant day we had on Sunday for the Summer Fete (& it wouldnt have been a real Summer Fete without the rain of course)! I just wanted to say a really big THANK YOU to everyone that got involved, either with the preparations and clean-ups, manning stalls and/or donating items to the stalls and for all the other efforts it took to bring the event together. Special thanks to Elaine Taylor, Alex Tyrrell, Alex Conroy, Chloe Straker, Andrea Avalon VeganKitchen KohTao, Zena Marie Whitworth, Alex (Ice Cream Man), Top (Artist), Deborah Collins, and Through The Looking Glass, Idjang Andrews, Mabs, Eline De Neubourg, Julia Marshall Rosemary Allen, Alan Cassar, Steve Grayson, Nong Lak Grayson, Shalini Negi, Jcnrich Collin and Rich, The Earth House team for manning the cider tent after Kerry Ligthert was taken ill. Also, a massive THANK YOU to Maya Beach Club, for the loan of the BBQ, Johnny English for being a superstar DJ and an even BIGGER THANK YOU to Peter Bowyer, and Molecule for very kindly supplying all of our posters and advertising along with the use of his lovely air-conditioned office to de-stress in after me supplying him with endless visits and headaches..... thanks Pete, really appreciate it! Also, THANKS to Whitening Bar & Restaurant, Koh Tao, Thailand, Crystal Dive Resort, Dolce Vita, Big Blue Diving, Ruby Tuesdays Shalimar, Dive4Photos, Crystal Images Koh Tao, Master Divers and Portobello, Koh Tao, for supplying some amazing prizes for various games and activities. So, the bit youve all been waiting for. The total amount raised was, an amazing............... 35373b!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely brilliant result guys, weve now got a nice healthy bank balance to get things started and a lovely new canvas to work with now that the land is clear and ready to start.
