What a couple of days! Getting ready to have the new carpet installed was like getting ready to move!! There are boxes everywhere. The plan was to board all four cats for a day or two. Yesterday we managed to catch three of them. It was a keystone cops project to get two of them into the carrier together. Every time we tried to get the second one in.....well you get the picture. Thunder did his disappearing act managed to get to stay home. But the carpet is in and looks gorgeous. (Boy, was the old stuff ready to be replaced.) It makes the rooms look bigger. Once we get unpacked again, we will be ready for our mini vacation in Branson next week for our anniversary. Then it is back to reality and my surgery on the seventh. Who said retirement was relaxing??!!!
