What a day! We are starting to get use to getting up and milking the new goat, feeding and watering the other goats, ducks, chickens, and turkeys. So we decided to add to that. We decided we just had to have calves, yup, we have two of the cutest little calves ever. Yes, I know someday they MAY become ummmm dinner, but gosh they are cute. So now we get up, milk the goat, feed and water everything, and then bottle feed our baby calves. Our little homestead is turning out just like we planned. Today after "chores" and garden work the kids and I took off to enjoy an afternoon of fun at the campground. Made some cool tie dyed shirts, swam in the pool, ate some ice cream, and played a bit of putt putt. Came home and had a wonderful family movie night. Yes, this is the life we dreamed of.
