What a day! What a season its been, come to think of it! We started training last May and it culminated yesterday, Oct. 12, with the running of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. And you guys did ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. All three of us -- Patrice, Danny and myself -- are so proud and honored to have been your City TEAM coaches this season and so amazingly happy for each and every one of you ... you got The Bling. Wear and display your medal with pride -- you earned it! One thing I personally hate about the marathon is, not getting to see each and every one of you crossing the Finish Line, then hear all about your day --- the good, the bad, the ugly. I guess thats what Facebook is for, so please take a few minutes to share reflections on your 2014 Chicago Marathon experience and, more so, your 2014 TEAM Season. We will be in touch very soon with info about a season wrap-up get-together (tentatively for Saturday, Nov. 2); Patrice will have all of the info in the next day or so. Please try to attend, and of course bring your finishers medal. Again, congrats to each and every one of you -- you did it! And just as important, you did wonders to help the The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
