What a fun afternoon/evening with my dad. I took him for a ride up Ogden Canyon, and planned to take the North Ogden Pass and go back to the VA to have dinner with him. Lol, he thought it was a better idea to take the mountain road that ends up in Paradise! Errrmmmmm....our Prius will never be the same, but dad said I did well and dodged most of the big rocks in the road *grin* It was so fun laughing about our little mis-adventure and listening to him reminisce about his experiences in the mountains. He talked about his many trips with the G2 Scouts to the Wind Rivers, hunting trips to Park Valley....good times! And, to top it off....we saw 19 deer that were ALIVE right along the mountain road. Secretly, I hope they stay that way. *grin* I took him back to the VA about 3 hours later than I planned...Im pretty sure hell sleep well tonight :)
