What a great strategy. Hold a fire sale of Provincial assets to make it look like youre actually trying to balance the budget. Book the revenue next year and point to what a great job youre doing then hold your breathe and hope things get better the next year. Profits from any asset sales should be used for other one time expenses such as infrastructure repairs or other asset purchases, not to be applied to budget deficits. What are we going to do once the shelf is bare and theres nothing else to sell?
