What a humbling experience I had today... During a walk through of Woodland School in town with the Superintendent, Principal and another BOE member, I was introduced to a world of children with a variety or behavioral, emotional, and education needs from all over CT. Most of these children have experienced more in their short lives than I will in my whole life. The unbelievable staff there are the one constant and stable aspect of these childrens day to day existence. This school is a blessing, and my heart has been changed. A thought to share... When you are thinking of, or actually in the midst of complaining about something ridiculous, fleeting, or changeable, stop and think about what REALLY matters, what the REAL problems are in the world. Thats all. :).
