What a load of Drivel by Simon Heffer in the dailymail, the rag of westminster. He goes on about the ENGLISH £, the ENGLISH army. He seems to think that Scotlands only income would be from the OIL, what about farming, fishing,manufacturing, tourism and dare I even say it whisky. Border posts!!!!! Have they seen the border between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland? Why would Scotland take on a share of the National Debt when we do not get what we have already paid for? There WILL be a Currency Union and Scotland will take responsibility for her share of the national debt. Dont forget, Holyrood has for the past several years managed to balance the budget books without having to raise council tax. A Dividend for the English tax payer What about all the years when Scotland has paid in FAR MORE than what we have been given in the block grant?
