What a messed up day yesterday was. I had another CT scan Tuesday and I had the usual side effects that I am used to dealing with. I woke up yesterday feeling ok for the first 10 min. then the poop hit the fan. Chills and fever spikes up to 102.3 degrees. We went to CBC at Baptist for a series of blood test and other things and found nothing.. The docs say that when tumors get inflamed they can cause fever spikes and that was likely the issue. After taking the anti inflammatory meds I feel much better. I am truly grateful to have such an amazing group of caregivers at CBC and cannot say enough about how quickly they respond to their patients troubles.
