What a mindblowing couple of days. Its taken me a little while just to get my head around it and take it in. We got picked up in Bucharest, heading to Pitesti. We shared our story with Arnauld and his friend Daniel about how we travel and why we travel. I think he thought us a little crazy but invited us to his family home in the countryside. We met all the family who were so beautiful and welcomed us with open arms - that first night with them was overwhelming and emotional for me. The grandmother was of the family cooked a traditional Romanian dish for us, and when I thanked and hugged her, we were both close to tears. All of them just opened their door and their hearts to us. We decided to stay for an extra day and night, leaving today heading for Brasov. I will remember this experience for the rest of my life. Thank you Arnauld and your incredible family!
