What a start to the day at Highgate. Rode over toward the pitt area using the lower trail, bad move. Got caught in a "mud bog" and both me and the bike tilted to the right and into the mud we went. Once I got up, I realized that my whole right side was soaked in mud (helmet, face, shirt, pants, boots and all the way thru to the skin). NOT a pretty sight, but continued on to the pitt area and started working in the furrows of water, mud, grass. Guess I have to pull out the boot dryer tonight. Pray for SUN, please and help dry this place for the National Trials Competition this weekend.
