What a thrill, when visiting Denver with Sadie, several years ago, to visit Invesco at Mile High Stadium. I thought seeing the two Superbowl trophies at the Bronco Store would be the highlight, until I asked the clerk if there was ANY way to see the field, up close. To our surprise, she said, just go around to the back of the stadium...see if a tunnel door is open, and go in...that there would be a security booth where we could ask for permission. Walking down the tunnel, I think I was in shock..then the field loomed at the end of the tunnel. We saw the security booth, and before we could turn to ask for permission, the person inside just waved us through!!!! We could walk the perimeter but stay off the playing area. OMG!!!! We walked all around the whole field, I thought I would cry, but really was in shock! Stayed off the playing area...except for my fingers that tore off some turf and put it in a cig cellophane. I have it to this day :) Looking forward to my next visit to Denver to see SUPERBOWL TROPHY #3!!!!!
