What a weekend! Sven with the epilepsy got worse the night between Friday and Saturday. After being well for one week we thought the medicine and diet with the supplements had kicked in. During the night he got 23 seizures! We got emergency to the veterinarian Dr Hummel--that has seen Sven before. (This is why its important to have 24 h foster care) Another medicine will be added together with the old one. It was (is) heartbreaking! To see him being confused and scared is devastating. The second night he wouldnt sleep. Sven was up walking, slamming into things in the room he and I shared. I had a small light turned on, but he couldnt lay or stand still one minute. Sunday (yesterday) him and I slept exhausted though. WE have two big veterinarian clinics with Cat scan. We really want to bring him there to make x ray and perhaps some other tests (fluid test from brain) But money is lacking our visit. Sven Fundraising 500 euro. Please help us figure out how we can help this little guy. Since April has he had seizures every 7-10 days. Now the numbers of seizures are escalating fast. We need to step up the research.
