What a wonderful time we had at the Sumner Library event yesterday! Thank you, Sumner Arts Council and Pierce County Libraries (special thanks to Judy Kimball, organizer from the Council, and Ben Haines, senior librarian) for such a well organized, richly rewarding afternoon. The questions from Ben Haines and later from the writers attending were challenging and fun to answer. Kurt Giambastiani, Ned Hayes, Rebecca Morris and I eased into such a collegial mode of listening, responding, adding onto each others comments that we came away feeling like old friends, so much so that we want to do it again. Now THATS a successful event!
