What an amazing story. Meet Happy...and he sure has something to be happy about. Happy came from a Pit fighting ring, and he would not fight so he was marked with a X on the top of his head, and later abandoned. (if you look closely, you can see it on the picture) this is what they do in the world of Pit fighting. Happy was then picked up by a high kill animal control, but he was such a sweet boy that they did not have the heart to put him down after all he had been through. This high kill a/c can at times euthanize 30 dogs a week, but they have kept Happy (formerly Snowball) since February which is unheard of because of his loving nature. Happy is now in a great foster home that works with Pits, and they have four of their own. They say that he is so sweet, gets along great with their 7 dogs, and does not have ANY aggression in him, just a totally sweet boy who loves everyone, and is always happy. Happy is now housebroken, leash trained, crate trained, and also learning commands. Happy is around 3- 4 years old, and is now neutered and fully vetted. We contacted Eleventh Hour Rescue to please help. This poor boy needs a chance that he has never known, and will be a wonderful addition to your family. Please fill out an application on this loving guy today. Eleventh Hour has agreed to take this boy but we can not move him until we have a foster or adopter lined up for him.
