What an awesome trip to Dallas for the Miss Rodeo America Seminar! I had an incredible trip, learned more than I could have dreamed, and am now feeling even more motivated and prepared for the Miss Rodeo America Pageant this December. It was so nice to be able to attend such a high quality clinic early on in the year. I now have a clear plan of attack for my preparations for MRA! Highly recommend this clinic to ANY level of rodeo queen, that is 17+. It was an extremely beneficial week; from being able to attend the Dallas Western Market fashion shows and get great ideas for my wardrobe, to lectures from extremely high qualified clinicians such as: - Past MRA judges and titleholders - High fashion runway show producer, Karl Marshall - PRCA Animal Welfare Director, Cindy Schonholtz - National Sales Director for Bailey hats, Mike Amerman - An entire day of horsemanship practice from THE Chris Cox Horsemanship - A hysterical lecture on rodeo knowledge and life lessons, from WNFR World Champion, Stran Smith, and his wife, Jennifer Smith. - Vet questions and answer session with Dr. John Bitter, DVM President, and CEO of Argyle Veterinary Hospital - Shout out to Miss Rodeo Kansas, Katera Harter for being the best driving companion! Overall, I couldnt have been happier with my time at the clinic. Also, to make everything even better, I got to see 20 of my favorite State girls, :D. Cant wait for them all to get up to Oklahoma City in a few weeks for the Ram National Circuit Finals, at the Lazy E Arena April 10-12!
