What an experience the past few days competing in the Japan Open has been. A huge and heartfelt thanks to Kozo Shimbo and his unbelievable staff for providing myself and my fellow competitors (and non competitors) with the opportunity of a lifetime. Many, many thanks to all of my friends, family and sponsors who were cheering me on from both near and far. Strong play over 4 rounds helped me limp through the finish line in 15th place, and qualified me for the USDGC! Im sad that I missed out on yesterdays closing festivities, but after coming down with a heck of a cold, I slept nearly 16 straight hours after finishing play. Glad to say that while still sick, Im feeling much better today. Looking forward to the next week of travel around Japan and visiting family.
