What bothers me more than Shea and his mentor Sheehan posting pictures of their ballots on Facebook etc., is a comment from a state representative condoning the action because the law is old and unclear. Candidate Shea had a former Aldermanic President who is a local attorney on his team and Paul wouldnt breath without his permission this past Monday evening. Why didnt he ask the attorney? Would he vote on a resolution without full knowledge of the circumstances had he been elected? In case you forgot already we had several instances of Aldermen voting to approve a labor contract without full comprehension of its complications. We have enough BoA members retaining their seats who frequently vote this way. We certainly dont need one more.
