What can I say after a great trip to Tromso. The clients fully enjoyed the experience. They paddled in kayaks and were rewarded with seeing Whales in their natural surroundings on day one. We wondered how we could beat that? Mother nature can be so amazing if you just start to enjoy it. On our last day we paddle to a island on the way had a small pod of Whales around us, all we had to do was sit there and enjoy the show. Can you believe we also had snow covered mountains on three sides. After the show we paddled to the island for a tea brake. What met us was a small heard of Reindeers which were so friendly I had one at finger tips. On the return trip we were saw more Whales. On the second day we went dog mussing and I must say what a fantastic experience. First we had to put on all the warm clothes and then we helped put the dogs into their harness. The briefing covered everything we needed to know about the dogs and sledge, the most important part was how to stop and what to do once you stop. Once everybody was ready we set of and I for one was in the world of sheer pleasure as this was something I had always wanted to do. To say I was a big kid was an understatement. This was not a turn up and go for an hour and leave. This was the go to the top of the snow covered mountains and see the sun. Yes see the sun which had not been seen for months. We stopped on the top for a hot meal over the camp fire and to take in the quiet and enjoy the sight. It was time to go and we returned just as it was getting dark. A full on day which the clients could not stop talking about. Oh yes we also had the Northern lights on many evenings. One we drove to get the full experience away from any man made lights. This was a once in a life time experiences but the clients want to come back. More photos to follows. We shall be running another trip shortly. Look out for the details.
