What can we expect? I remember a comment I heard on television when Obama became the first half black president of America, governments are like ships, it doesnt change directions fast, change in direction take time. So what can we except as change when we are going to witness a change in government at centre. India is a federal state and the central government is the unifying element which ties the various states together. After 3 decades of giving fractured verdicts, this time the nation have given the mandate to a single party to govern on its own. The change I expect is to have a government which will have the Political will power to implement what it feel is good for the betterment of nations. Purely based on 2 factors 1. A strong leader 2. Enough numbers on the floor of LS Mr Modi, you will have no excuse on that count. No you have the min numbers, you cant give the same reasons of coalition-compulsions of your predecessors. When governments change there is a big machinery which support the functioning of government, which doesnt change, and which is seldom blamed - the bureaucracy The monolith of bureaucracy works as the conduits throw which the interests of corrupt flow in and out. Beware. There is a huge segment of india which looks up to the new team for good governance. And even those who didnt vote for you will be hoping that we have Decisive governance backed with solid political will power which will steer this country from the rut of past few decades. *PS: Please start working on bringing the black money stashed in Swiss bank.
