What did you do on Monday night? I was with 200+ Black Flag fans havin a blast! We did it again Bakersfield, over and over again the bands told me how great a crowd it was and how this has been the best stop of the tour so far. Hell, the guys from Cinema Cinema are ready to move here from Brooklyn. Tanked kicked off the night and ripped through a set that had Greg Ginn himself gettin down in the middle of the crowd. Cinema Cinema were great. So much energy coming from just two guys. If you werent there, check them out for sure. I dont care what anyone says, Mike Vallely IS the Black Flag frontman. He sounded great and flat kicked ass. Black Flag as a band were tight and sounded amazing. They pounded through classic after classic, only briefly pausing a couple times and the crowd kept right up. It was a sight to see and hear. Everyone on the tour was incredible. So nice and appreciative. Lots of memorable moments, from Mike V playing with a balloon with Mary to talking about Buck Owens with Greg Ginn. Amazing night. BIG BIG thanks to all that were involved, helped with and supported the event. The On The Rocks staff were top notch, special shout out to security for handling business but letting the fans have fun, Brett Cox was on his game as well. Thanks to Going Underground and The Gaming Spot for being ticket outlets. Thanks to our Savage Radio family for the promotion help and to Brandy for working the door. Thanks to Scott and Medka for being stagehands and getting the night ready. Thanks to my wife and Mary for dealing with me over the last few weeks while I busted my ass to make this night happen lol THANK YOU BAKERSFIELD!!!!!
