What do you really want from your clients? I have asked this question for years and it is frustrating how few people can answer it clearly. Yes, we want the client to pay us, but what else do we expect from him? Clients often underperform for us financially because we have never taken the time to map out what we want from him and when? Clients will pay us more over time, bring us more referrals and often be a greater part of our businesses if we spend the time with them monthly to keep them informed of programming and options we offer that now fit them or were not available in the past. You have to have a year long plan for each client as to where he is now, where he should be going and what he needs to reach his stated goals. Your clients trust your judgement, but often dont know the questions they need to ask to get the most out of what you offer and who you are... but this can be fixed with simple meetings that keep them projected ahead as part of your plan for them.
