What do you think about smart guns” ? A new kind of technology is stirring up a lot of controversy in the gun control debate. Made in Germany, a smart gun requires users to wear a radio-controlled watch to fire it -- a gun that only its owner can fire. Some states are considering laws that would require all handguns to have this kind of technology to make them safer. But not everyones on board... in fact, some people on both sides of the gun control debate oppose these smart guns. Those for stricter gun control say this would encourage more gun ownership... while gun rights supporters say it will restrict their rights on what guns they can own.
