What does 19 years of marriage look like? Let me see: 1. 19 years of Loving my wife as Christ loved the Church.(Ephesians 5:25); of having a love with no limits; of loving her in disregard of her love for me 2. 19 years of Loving my wife in the same way I love my body and my life; of feeling my wifes pain and illness and rejoicing in her health as if it were my own life. (Ephesians 5:28-33). 3. 19 years of trying to be considerate as I live with my wife, with respect, not just to show love but so that our prayers may not hindered! (I Peter 3:7) 4. 19 years of analyzing any harshness I may have conveyed to my wife; Rejoicing in the fact that she is a lady and isnt like me- remembering that she is a precious gift God has given me! (Colossians 3:19). 5. 19 years of realizing that my body does not belong to me alone but also to my wife; of not depriving her of her needs; (I Corinthians 7:3-5). 6. 19 years of rejoicing in my wife all of my life! 19 years of letting her body satisfy me and being captivated by her! 19 years of gazing upon her lovingly and wantingly daily! (Proverbs 5:18-19). 7. 19 years of trying to encourage my wife to dress mostly yet elegant in public and yet erotic and exclusively with me in private! (1 Timothy 2:9) 19 years of wanting admiration to be primarily mine and secondary everyone else! 8. 19 years of being captivated by my wife’s exquisiteness and beauty on a daily basis; admiring her even she is away from me. No other can compare to her perfection!(Proverbs 5:20) 9. 19 years of trying to let her know she is blessed and a blessing to me, and that she is the greatest of my earthly treasures! (Proverbs 31:28-29) 10. 19 years of trying to tell my wife how I’m captivated with her body. God made no mistake; to me she is flawless! I am completely enamored with her! (Song of Solomon 4:7; 7:1-8) 11. 19 years of honoring my marriage; of keeping it pure by remaining true to my wife in every way! For 19 years my heart has been kept pure by keeping my heart and eyes trained to be true to my wife! (Hebrews 13:4; Matthew 5:28; Luke 12:34) 12. 19 Years of being thankful for my wife and realizing the favor I have received from God! 19 years of realizing I have a lifelong companion, a friend, and a lover to enjoy daily. What a blessing to have such a tremendous blessing from God! (Proverbs 18:22) 13. 19 years of being one flesh with my wife in every way! 19 years of longing to be with her like I did when we first met! 19 years of thinking of her daily! 19 years of living life inseperable! (Matthew 19:5) Yes, 19 years is not much to some, and a great deal to others! No minute, no hour, no day, no week, no year, no time goes by that I do not pray that the next time is as great as the last, and supersede this expectation!
