What does Gaza mean to me.When I read Taha Yasins book about Palestine it made things easy for me to understand.The Shariefs of Hijaz helped the Brits and Western countries to kill and defeat the Ottoman turks who had been ruling the Arabs for centuries, for having taken Al Aqsa from them and that Seljuks and later Otttomans had thrown the Christians out from what is now Istanbul.Shariefs family was rewarded by the Europeans with Kingships for many of his sons,Iraq,Jordan etc.Whatever might have been the policies and plans of the Brits to create a Jewish state they would never have succeeded had the Arabs not helped them both by their actions and inaction.What we see now is the same old game being repeated by Saudis,Sisi,Abdullah,Emiratis,Assad and other Arabs,though the rewards have changed sides,finish the Hamas off and we will the foot the bill with Petrodallars and earnings from the big world class br.....s they run in the Gulf,so that those dictatorial regimes are not challenged by the fresh thinking people of the Arab world.They have already crushed it in Egypt,Algeria etc.The bottom line, White Christian world does not want the Arabs to defeat the neo-crusaders and prevent wrenching Bethelhem back from them if their proxy Israel is defeated.
