What does everyone think of Review sites? There are loads of places people can offer their feedback to someones business. What the best way to respond? We were greeted and shown to a seat, we asked to order and she said no, you have to order at the counter. We ordered our meals and noticed that our seat had been taken. So we sat down at a different table when the waitress approached us and said sorry these seats are taken. i told her if you are going to seat us when we enter you should have a system that reserves the table, otherwise whats the point if you have to get up straight away to go to the counter to order. The burgers were awful, some small pitiful meat patty drenched in sauce on a sugar bun. They didnt even have classic vanilla or chocolate flavours for their milkshakes, cmon! youre suppose to be a burger bar! Meal was also overpriced. I wasnt expecting much from this place, but hey at least they have some cool art and light fixtures so you can look cool while you eat you chug down that nestle powder milk shake from your eco cup. Dont bother, go to grilld at the plaza if you want a good burger. •Visited July 2014 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My response Thanks for your feedback Fred Firstly we are obviously disappointed Hello Harry didnt meet you expectations. Some of your comments are pretty brutal to say the least. As you were advised we dont offer table service to ensure we can keep the cost of the burgers down to $10. The fact someone took your seat unfortunately does happen from time to time as we have people lined up to get a seat at our busiest times. I am sure if you have made one of our team aware they would have notified the people who took your seat that and found them a new table. The meat patty is actually freshly ground Wagyu beef. The sauces you are referring to is a house made tomato jam along with a house made horseradish aioli and American mustard. The ingredients in the shakes are all made from scratch in the kitchen. The chocolate is some of the finest Belgian chocolate you will find along with maltesers straight from their packet. The salted cameral is hand made and the strawberry shakes is from locally grown fresh strawberrys. The sugar bun is our own house made brioche bun. Doesnt sound like there will be a next time.......but next time you are in someones else business where people day in day out are giving their heart and soul to make everyones experience a great one, notify the management so at least they have a opportunity to re imburse you of the cost of your meal or try and fix it. I agree with you in regards to Grilled. They do a great job. If you happen to work for one of our competitors or previously worked for us for that matter or are simply opening near us and see this as your opportunity to hurt us....then ignore all of the above.
