What exactly does not criminally responsible mean? This post is likely going to prevent me from ever being selected for jury duty.... I just read an article that the man who beheaded a stranger on a grey hound bus a few years ago, has been granted unsupervised outgoings to public places and relaxed security because he has exhibited good behavior and a calm demeanor and no longer has violent outbursts. Im sorry, but what the hell is wrong with this picture. I dont care if he miraculously transforms into the next Mother Theresa...HE CUT SOMEONES HEAD OFF!!!!! An unprovoked attack, a vicious, violent and gruesome slaying of an innocent man while others watched in horror...and this guys gets to roam the streets unsupervised. Parks, beaches, neighborhoods where children play....all because he no longer has violent outbursts and no longer hears voices. I cant even wrap my head around how anyone can think this is ok!
