What great times Port Sanilac has produced over the last 4 weeks! Starting Independence Day weekend and running through this Blues/Boat/Camper/Civil War weekend, thousands of people have enjoyed activities and made wonderful memories! I talked to two different couples who bought property in the past 10 years in the Port Sanilac area because they attended some sort of festivity here! There were a couple more who have been here for the first or second time and thinking they would like to buy here! THIS IS HOW IT WORKS! Build it and they will come! Well, Tim Cheek, Beth Lusher-Cain, Dave Boyer, Jeanne Shaw Harper, Lori Willis Moran, Kathleen Poirier, Susan Gill, George Lawson, Gil Orris, and SO many others have worked very hard (often having to shrug off obstacles and negative comments) to get this done! Please be sure to let these people and their committees know how much you appreciate this hard work. And remember - ITS ALL VOLUNTEER! None of these folks get paid to give up their family time and summer to make these events successful. THANK YOU ALL!
