What happened to the American Ideal of Let the best ideas win! Lets debate the issue and see which solution is best! Those unable to persuade others - liberals, secularists, progressives, socialists, communists, etc. - would prefer to to force others to submit to their way of thinking even if their thinking is wrong, unproven, or historically catastrophic. Perhaps such strategy is a product of being misinformed, uninformed, or just simply stupid. You decide. :)
