What if the Thomasine gospel of Thomas had been accepted into the new testament? The doubting Thomas tale would have been erased. What a different Catholic Church it would have been. Female popes and priests. It would have been a better world. In a male dominated world Jesus said: ********************** Verse 114 ********************* Equal to any man. ********************* Simon Peter said to them: Let Mary go forth from among us, for women are not worthy of the life. Jesus said: Behold, I shall lead her, that I may make her male, in order that she also may become a living spirit like you males. For every woman who makes herself male shall enter into the kingdom of heaven. ********************* My Understanding ********************* This is very important. Jesus Christ is saying that a woman that drinks from the mouth of Jesus, consume his words, shall become a child of the one light of GOD, the same and equal to any man of the light of God. This act allows her to enter into the kingdom of heaven. In making this statement Jesus is saying women can become like Jesus. Women can pull people from darkness. She is a living spirit of the one parent, the light of God.
