What is Patriotism? How can I be a patriot? When I see generational evil being perpetrated, when men, leaders and elders lie to the detriment of the coming generation, when I see corruption being institutionalized and I choose to decry and expose it, is that being unpatriotic? Saheed, if you expose it or say things as they are in public or the world view, youre not being patriotic enough. You dont wash our dirty linen outside you know?!, so said one of them. I laughed. Maybe you should stop putting your dirty linen where I or the rest of the world will see it. Or maybe you should stop having dirty linen all together. I dont do fake, immatured patriotism. Ill continue to say it as it is. Its my benevolent duty. And if you say Im not a patriot, you need help!
