What is Ramadan like in Trinidad?- Short days of fasting-half days if you are working in a Muslim school. If you are living in the East West corridor or South then you can guarantee an iftar meal everyday to break fast. We gotta continue to make dua for masjids like the IRS in POS and others who make this a priority every Ramadan. If youre from Central then you can guarantee a plate of food every weekend. Taraweeh is read every night in all jamaats by beautiful scholars. The non Muslim population respects you as a faster because they themselves are also counting down the days for the Public Holiday Eid.Oh on Eid day, you can mosque hop to different masjids that will be having a beautiful feast. Some celebrate till half day and some party till its Isha time. Regardless, the experience is often super fun, exciting and amazing. Bet your bottom dollar that the 10 lbs you lost during Ramadan is often added back on Eid day thanks to the masjids that make it a priority to feed you till you drop. As for that beautiful home cooked Eid meal you made the night before, well youll just enjoy it another day if you please. What is Ramadan like in your country?
