What is Senate President Justin Alfond so afraid of? If education is supposed to be expanding minds and understanding all points of view, what is he so afraid of? MHPC promotes free market concepts as a way to advance Maine. I guess it would make sense that Alfond would make a big deal about this, an issue that is not a big deal at all Alfond, like a lot of Democrats and Republicans in Maine, are stuck in the mud of do it the same way everyday even though it is not working because that is the way we have always done it. While the status quo may not work for average working people, it sure works for the political establishment of both major political parties in Maine. Yes, Senate President Alfond, I would fear a free exchange of ideas that may differ from yours as well. It may open some eyes and God knows, open eyes by we the people is bad for elected Democrats and Republicans in Maine, so we surely cannot do this.
