What is TRUE STRENGTH True strength is not about how much you can carry, lift, take-down or throw.Its not tangible object that can be measure its dimension, weight or size, or measuring individual power or stamina by counting how many you knockdown or laps you travelled or countries you conquered. It’s NOT relying of physical strength or threats to subdue others but by facing it very calmly and composed, with a positive thought that everything can be achieve of heart-to-heart talk. It’s NOT to become showy to someone and regularly showing and boasting your expertise. In martial art’s world, there are heaps of competitions happening and everyone knew things like UFC and PRIDE were two highly trained individual of same or mix disciplines are fighting for glory and money. They beating each other but tightly bounded by some strict rules. At the end of contest, someone will be proclaimed a winner and certainly a loser. For the winner, do you think he possessed true strength? NO, these are “false strength”. True strength is characterized by having confidence, courage, honesty, compassion, kindness and sense of justice and knowing your real self. These traits are atomic in nature and interact with each other. You can’t say I have confidence, but in reality, you have no courage. Though you have compassion to help people, if your body and spirit are weak, definitely, failure is inevitable. You should not be obsessed beating people but instead have a confidence knowingly; you can defend yourself without using any weapon. True strength is that body and spirit are acting as one which fortified by solid martial arts training and spiritual cultivation. It is secure and confident to itself to withstand the test of time. That’s its always seek justice and truth. True strength must know how to love, care and forgive and ask forgiveness. Have courage to say “I’M SORRY” when needed. It’s courage to accept your fault and admit it instead of hiding it and making some alibis. True strength is acting with consideration to yourself and others. Living in a harmony with society and to the fullest, acting in right and proper manner and stand firm when its need. True strength is always resides within us. It’s like a seed waiting to be cultivate and watered till it reach its maximum potentials. These qualities are needed to be nurtured by practicing and applying it in our daily life. If we manifest it in ourselves, it will do wonder in others and will bring new level of beauty to the world we live-in. Imagine a world without conflicts and without wars, history will never be the same again.
