What is a Christian? I read a scripture this morning, John 15:18. It reads If the world hates you, know that it hated me before you. Truth: In order to love or hate anyone, you must first know them. Are Christians the ones who hate Jesus, and thats the reason very few do what he would do? Christians dont treat others under the What would Jesus do motto. Many Christians operate on perceptions and false expectations of others based on how big or small they view themselves. It doesnt even matter their mediocre source (ie. oneself, social media, other messy or non-thinking Christians, etc.). Christians fail to acknowledge their mirror reflections when confronted by the truth. They dont reflect Jesus Christ because they lack appreciation for candor and truth. Therefore, when someone speaks the truth, that person loses favor of man...period! If Jesus Christ is Christians way of life, why do Christians behave opposite of what the scriptures illustrate on how to behave towards their fellow man (friend or foe)? If Christians believe in Jesus Christ and how the bible depicts him, and if Christians are so supportive of Jesus (who thrives on truth); why do Christians shun others who tell the truth? And why do Christians run and gossip with like-minded Christians, then judge and convict you for speaking the truth? With all due respect, I have a clear understanding why people dont believe in Jesus Christ or Christianity. Countless Christians Ive encountered dont behave in the manner that which they claim to believe is truth, according to their bible. Christians lights dont shine, therefore, Im wondering what is a Christian? #Thinking
