What is a stay at an RV Park worth? Im thinking of writing a blog post on this topic and would like YOUR input. Heres my perspective: I figure if I stay a week (7 nights) at a park with full hookups - but NO other amenities (eg: pool, hot tub, cable) AND NOT located in a resort town (eg: Jackson, Wy) AND off season - I see an average of about $20/night as fair (140 for the week). Perhaps Im just CHEAP, but, I see many parks in Wy and Ut - again - NOT in tourist towns and NOT in the summer (their high season) - trying to get $170 - 200 per week. I just decided to reconfigure my plans and instead of spending a week in Vernal, Utah (just to get to know the town a bit), Im going to Saratoga, Wy - where they have natural hot springs (free), and a town park (on a lake) that charges $15/night - electric only. What say you? Am I expecting too much of these RV Parks to offer the kind of rates I feel are fair?
