What is going on with the Braves? They dont trust the young assistant general manager enough to give him the job. Instead they create some bogus title and give it to advisor John Hart, who turned down the GM title. This on top of the preposterous claim by CEO Terry McGuirk that the Braves are a small market team. This coming on top of retaining Fredi Gonzalez as manager and entertaining the idea of trading Jason Heyward whom they screwed up by batting leadoff. Oh yes and they still owe BJ Upton $45 million and no one wants him. Not to mention the new stadium fiasco.
