What is it about our character that we would rather believe something bad about someone than to take time getting to know them? It is not holy to take the lead from someone who is momentarily unholy in their posture and attitude toward others. However, it is holy to lovingly confront them and hold them accountable for loving those that that Jesus died for and for loving those that they perceive to be their enemies. Jesus allowed Judas on the team because He was teaching us that it is better for us to risk being betrayed than to risk damaging a bruised reed or snuffing out a smoldering wick. The tongue of the wise brings healing and love never fails :)
