What is it about the arrest of Henry Costa that is of any significance unlike others? Monrovia City Court arrest people all the time and display them as usual. There is no evidence that Mr. Costa was arrested by the NSA. As the matter of fact, there is no evidence that any NSA officer accompanied the Court Officer. In Liberia, if I bring a complaint against you and you are a well known figure, most Court Officers are happy to bring their aid along. Not that I am suggesting this is what occurred in this matter. You might see the public trying to even get involved to prevent that prominent person from being arrested. As to the Charge sheet attached to the various postings I have seen so far, I cannot authenticate nor dismiss it as being the real charge sheet in this case. I do not see why we should conclude without hearing whats going on. Look, in every matter, there are three sides. At least this court process will throw some light and we will know who is the guilty party. One thing for sure is, the NSA did not arrest Mr. Costa. If the WRIT OF ARREST is authenticated and genuine, that is a clear indication that the matter is going through the process and the NSA did not arbitrarily arrest him nor were they involved at all. Lets wait and see. I pray Mr. Costa and all parties respect the process and hope justice prevail for both the accused and complainant.
