What is left of ObamaCare? President Obama has gutted/delayed/suspended/modified many of the requirements just so his party might have a chance of hanging on to a few seats during the upcoming mid-term elections. Good luck with that one!! I even read an article the other day where illegal aliens are being signed up for ObamaCare. Probably doing it to get the numbers up, but it is estimated that 15-20% of those who have signed up have yet to pay a premium. For a President and Democrats who keep telling the American people that they are doing this to help the middle class, I really dont believe them anymore (as if I ever believed them when this crap was being presented to the American public and swallowed whole by the condescending press) and find it hard to understand why anybody would continue to believe what they are saying. Our company provides health insurance to our employees, but the improvements made by ObamaCare have caused our healthcare expenses to skyrocket. We have now implemented cost sharing because of the much higher costs. Healthcare has improved so much, we have seen our deductibles and co-pays increase dramatically. I just wonder how much longer this house of cards will continue to stand. However, isnt this exactly what President Obama wanted? The collapse of the insurance industry (they were the bigger fools for signing up in support of ObamaCare all for the sake of what was supposed to be more policies, but is rapidly turning into a financial disaster) was always the target so that the government could come to the rescue and nationalize the entire healthcare industry. ObamaCare will not only destroy our healthcare system, a system that was actually pretty good, even if there were some warts that needed excising, but will also destroy the middle class. The rich wont notice too much other than they will either opt out and pay the tax or even leave the country to get the coverage they want. The poor will always be given subsidies and most will ignore the law because they will still flood the emergency rooms regardless of the healthcare laws. It is the people in the middle who will get little or no subsidies, will try to obey the law because they have few choices, will see radical and more expensive changes made to their plans which will affect the money they can keep in their pockets, and will get less coverage for the money they do spend. Thank you Mr. President and the then Democratically controlled Congress. The more we learn about this bill and its associated regulations (Nancy Pelosi may have thought no one would ever read the damn thing), the more it becomes evident just about everybody who is trying to make a living in this country got screwed. And the next generation gets screwed again. The question will our kids get to see Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid, or ObamaCare collapse first and be left holding the financial bag? Harry Reid, you can call me a liar, but your are an idiot, and your condition cannot be corrected.
