What is my favorite flower? Having made dozens of flower essences, that would seem to be a difficult question. But when our colleagues in Brazil asked us to choose a favorite flower, and speak about it for the upcoming national flower essence conference in Brazil, I immediately thought of the Star Tulip. Star Tulip was one of the first flower essences I made 35 years ago, along California’s Pacific coast, and I re-visited it last year, as part of my birthday retreat, this time with video camera. Since the sister flower, the Yellow Star Tulip, was blooming here at Terra Flora, the FES headquarters in the Sierra Nevada foothills, I include both in a short video clip we sent to Brazil.
