Hearing loss, Jeremiah came across this problem Jer 25:1-4 25 The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, that was the first year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; 2 The which Jeremiah the prophet spake unto all the people of Judah, and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, 3 From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, even unto this day, that is the three and twentieth year, the word of the Lord hath come unto me, and I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but ye have not hearkened. 4 And the Lord hath sent unto you all his servants the prophets, rising early and sending them; but ye have not hearkened, nor inclined your ear to hear. I have a relative that was born missing an ear; her hearing is affected by this birth deformity. One can usually tell by watching one’s eyes if they hear you or not, another way is you can say one thing and they hear something altogether differently, you can tell immediately by what comes out of their mouth if they heard you or not. When we do not have an ear to hear it causes problems and could even cause death if you were not able to hear danger approaching. I’ve seen the same problem in the spiritual although they were not born this way; The spiritual hearing problem is usually brought on by not protecting their hearing. Or through time by not adhering to the Word and Godly authority. As in the natural as A Pastor I can tell by watching their eyes or what comes out of their mouth when giving biblical spiritual instructions whether or not they heard what the Lord was trying to say or if they had an ear to hear or not. We need to be careful of the things that we allow to affect or and damage our hearing. It may just eventually cause of spiritual death or harm others we love. I’m just talking
