What is slavery? Slavery is not only when someone is put in chains. The Yoruba Federation for instance desires parliamentary system of government, but the Gambari and the Igbo want Presidential System. The three groups are currently participating in a national conference of 492 delegates, of which there are 92 delegates of Yoruba descent, but required 70% of the delegates’ vote (344) for the issue of parliamentary system to sail through in the absence of a consensus. Consensus is nothing but slavery in this age and time when all peoples have the right to self-determination. By virtue of that right, they freely determine their political status and freely pursue their economic, social and cultural development. But now, the right of the Yoruba to determine its own destiny is wrongly in the hands of the Gambari and their Igbo ally. This is ridiculous! #Confab
