Heb. 11:32-34 Praise the Lord. Happy Diwali! Paul commended the early Christians for their faith and trust in the power of God and God did wonders among them in giving them what they wanted and required in their many situations of life. God did not fail them in providing strength, courage and boldness in witnessing for the Lord. Their weakness was turned to strength and they became powerful to finish their tasks. These people still stand as powerful witnesses for us to follow by fixing our faith on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Jesus did not hesitate to go through suffering and sorrow in the act of carrying the cross to Calvary for you and me and fulfilled the will of God with obedience and trust in God, keeping in mind the joy of salvation which we will ultimately enjoy. Praise God for our great high priest, Jesus who endured opposition and crucifixion by the hand of His torturers, thereby giving us a lesson in not growing weary and lose heart in our troubles and persecutions. Lord, grant us strength to our feeble arms and weak knees. Thank you. Amen.
