What next ? . What next for the NHS, More delays, less beds, more mess, More hospitals closed, privatisation proposed, What next for the NHS ?. - You guess !. What next for the nurses in there?. In conditions they hardly can bear, They are slaving away, but to no - one`s suprise, Ruled by bosses, in smart suits, and ties !. What next for the old A & E ?. A lifeline for you, and for me, Shall we `pay to be seen`, - or is this just a dream ?. What next for the old A & E ?. The butcher is there in the shop, He will give the Health - Service the chop, He will lop off the `steak`, ( where the profit he`ll make ), And the `bad bits` he`ll leave in the shop. What next for the NHS, I really don`t know I confess, They have stripped it so bare, - that it`s not really there, So what next for the NHS ?. We stand by and we watch it`s demise, So it hardly will be a surprise, When the doctor will say. To see me you will pay ! . Then ` Privatisation`, - will lose it`s disguise !. Mick.
