What the fiscal terrorists inside the Republican Party refuse to see or acknowledge the massive global implications of default. They believe that default will bring about the kind of government and society they and their constituents without considering the damage that will be wrought by the economic blow back. Or perhaps they do not care since perhaps they (wrongly) believe that their personal wealth will be secure when the meltdown arrives. China is once again also calling for a global currency, which is a very good idea, but one that would solve only part of the worlds economic woes.
