What the righteous indignation about people passing comment about the people passing comment about that Paul Walker dying arent wrapping their nuts around is the complete, utter and total disproportionate response which smacks more than a bit of grief tourism and comes across as properly insincere. People are still going on about that Paul Walker character on the day that another person died in hospital as a result of the Clutha helicopter crash in Glasgow on Friday, a person even died in your own community over the weekend after getting knocked off their bike, guess what? They had familys to. So this hyperbole about Paul Walker had a family, how dare you simply point out the grossly disproportionate response or say anything ever that doesnt folllw the now traditional online nashing and wailing grief tourist routine just doesnt cut it. If you wanted to look at objectively then there is a case to be made for that Paul Walker contributing to thousands of road traffic accidents globally by normalising taking cars around like a tit for millions of dollars in a succession of increasingly dumbed down vehicles, (do you see what I did there) so probably best you dont come over all moral arbiter of the Internet as there are many ways of looking at it. What essentially it boils down to is: Man is celebrity, man dies, man is to good looking to die>>> Cue faux emotional response like his life is worth more than anyone elses or something followed by a righteous indignation led bacash against anyone who deviates on how youre supposed to mourn online. Read that back how youre supposed to mourn online, I dont mourn for this lad at all, Ive been through real bereavement in my life, led a bereavement counselling group and know the ACTUAL pain of losing someone that actually matters. The top and bottom of it is, Im not bothered hes dead. Why is death such a taboo subject that a person cant speak ill of the dead so a conversation therefore cant be had over this plastics nashing and wailing over some cunt who they dont know raking a car around like a tit. If he was that bothered about being a Dad maybe he wouldnt have took extreme risks like a nob, ever thought about that? The fact remains, his life is no better or worse than anyone else, when youve seen and felt real pain around loss and the pain that comes from the loss of other people that means a lot to people you care about then it lends itself to looking at this modern cult of online celebrity worship and seeing how plastic and vacuous it all actually is. His life is worth no more or less than anyone elses, it effects your life in the long term in no way shape or form whatsoever ergo if you say youre devastated, then you have not one clue what being devastated is, youre playing at it, to join the herd on the Internet to show how caring you are. If it was balanced with consistent status updates about other peoples deaths from all backgrounds and circumstances then Id believe you. I dont believe you. One love. FTDCH. X
