What we see today is probably the worst pre-election political discourse ever in this country... With the kind of mud-slinging, lurid verbal commentary, a constant attempt towards character assassination, reveals a complete lack of imagination when it comes to clear voices & level headed opinions... The complete absence of healthy discussions & debates is surely a sign of a sick nation... It hardly paints a picture of a healthy democracy, when people step on the podium only to vomit venom as a personal vendetta being the sole purpose... There is no defining dialogue around the nation, instead its has fallen into a shallow war of words ~ one worse than the other. Its a shame that weve reached a point where the nation has turned into a mockery & we, mere spectators to the decay. 2014 elections will sadly be remembered as the one that disintegrated this nation and turned us into a mockery, if nothing worse.
