If we arent being the people we know ourselves to be, and are putting on an act, even for what seem to be the best reasons - like trying to be more acceptable/attractive to someone else, how will we ever be able to relate to those we actually have something in common with? Would they even recognise us as a kindred spirit while were wearing a mask? I dont think so, but what do I know?
