What you take for granted someone else is praying for:) It always bothers me when I listen to someone who has gone through a divorce, blame everything on their spouse. I mean YES, there is always the straw that breaks the camels back but I am a firm believer that there is some fault on both sides! YES, I am divorced and as I look back over my marriage, I can see where I could have done things different. What I see as I counsel many is that they REPEAT the CYCLE over and over, still putting the blame on the other person! When YOU are willing to STOP blaming someone else and look in the mirror and say, What could I have done different What have I learned from this What will I do different next time you will begin to get different results. We must GROW UP and take RESPONSIBILITY for our ACTIONS. There is no perfect marriage people!!! What I see happening is mind boggling! People walk away from their family (which is the greatest treasure one can have) thinking they have found a grand prize ONLY TO REALIZE it is just another imperfect person...different face...different struggles! BROKEN FAMILY...HURTING CHILDREN...and in no time at all REPEAT the CYCLE! Just something to think about! We must STOP DIVORCE...STEP UP to the PLATE...STAY in the GAME and WIN! ~sdw~
